Currently, in the Swiss federal Counsels two laws are being discussed, in which the law of informational self-determination is affected essential. The advanced Data Retention in the Federal Law on the Surveillance of Post and Telecommunications (BÜPF) traffic and the new powers in the Security and Intelligence Agencies Act (NDG) bring forth new, additional supervisory responsibilities, which are constitunional untenable.
