In June, the first Weblaw Metaverse Summit took place, which we organized together with Härting Rechtsanwälte AG. In this issue, we publish the recordings of the presentations by Franz Kummer, Nicole Beranek Zanon, Anita Lamprecht, Nathaly Tschanz, Kai Erenli, Fabian Reinholz, Marian Härtel, Simon Planzer, Mitchell Goldberg, Karin Lorez, Marius Breier and Sarah Montani. We are already looking forward to the Weblaw Metaverse Summit 2023, which will take place on May 16.
The Liquid Legal Institute was again productive on a number of projects. Newly released are the English translations of Agile Working in the Legal Department and Liquify. Brand new is the Digitalization Guide, a digitalization guide for lawyers. Contributing their knowledge and expertise are Martin F. Biehaule, Evgeny Ioffe, Kai Jacob, Joachim Kämpf, Astrid Kohlmeier, Carolin Kothe, Anita Lamprecht, Rainer Markfort, Marcel Ritter, Valérie M. Saintot, Markus Sengpiel, Roger Strathausen, Hanny Vonderstein, Bernhard Waltl and Jobst Wibbelmann.
The Alps Forum 2021 of the Law and Economics Foundation St. Gallen addressed the topic Law and Economics of Data Science. In collaboration with Weblaw, a series of publications was launched that allows the insights gained at the Alps Forum to be shared at the intersection of law, economics, politics, technology and civil society. The digital proceedings appear in this issue of Jusletter IT. Edited by Suzanne Dvořák, Raoul Stocker and Florian Gasche, it contains contributions by Bernhard Waltl, David Rosenthal, Angelica M. Schwarz, Lisa Bechtold, Johann Justus Vasel, Valérie M. Saintot, Dana Sindermann, Christin ter Braak-Forstinger, Felix R. Ehrat, Adrian Locher, Simon Mayer, Giulia Canova, Fabio Anceschi, Florian Gasche, and me.
